The YUVA Tourism Club at NSCBM Government College, Hamirpur, is a dynamic student-centric initiative under the aegis of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. The club aims to nurture young "ambassadors of Indian tourism" by encouraging students to appreciate India’s rich cultural, historical, and natural heritage. Through eco-friendly and responsible travel practices, the club fosters essential soft skills like leadership, teamwork, and cross-cultural communication among its members.

Key Objectives & Learning Outcomes
  • Heritage Appreciation: Developing a deep connection with local and national history, culture, and civilization
  • Skill Building: Fostering practical experience in event management, public speaking, and sustainable tourism.
  • Responsible Travel: Promoting eco-friendly tourism practices that respect local ecosystems and communities.
Annual Activities & Events:
  • 10-15 Day National Tour: An immersive journey across India covering iconic national heritage sites and cultural landmarks. This tour provides students with immense corporate and cultural exposure, bridging classroom knowledge with real-world travel industry insights.
  • 7-Day Leadership Development Camp (LDC): An intensive on-field camp dedicated to honing core management skills. Students participate in team-building exercises, survival skills workshops, and peer-led activities designed to build confidence and strong leadership traits.
  • Local One Day Excursions: One Day tours, adventure tourism activities, and local field trips to document regional heritage.
Who Can Join?

The club is open to all college students from both UG and PG courses, across all disciplines who are eager to explore, learn, and lead.
